Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before commissioning any work from RapidWeb. By placing an order or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
RapidWeb is a web design and development business operating as a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading under the name RapidWeb.
Email: support@rapidwebdevs.co.uk
Website: rapidwebdevs.co.uk
2. Definitions
- "We" / "Us" / "RapidWeb" — the sole trader operating under the RapidWeb trading name
- "You" / "Client" — the individual or business commissioning services from RapidWeb
- "Project" — the agreed web design or development work to be carried out
- "Deliverables" — the website, pages, or assets produced as part of the Project
3. Quotations & Agreements
All quotes provided by RapidWeb are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a binding contract until a deposit has been received.
Work begins only after the deposit payment has been made and confirmed. Any scope changes after work has commenced may be subject to additional charges, which will be communicated and agreed in advance.
4. Payment Terms
Our standard payment structure is as follows:
- 50% deposit — due before work begins
- 50% final payment — due upon your approval of the completed project
You will not be asked to make the final payment until you have reviewed and approved the finished work. We will not launch your website until the final payment has been received.
All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP). Payment is accepted via bank transfer or other agreed methods.
Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur a late payment charge in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a full refund guarantee subject to the following conditions:
- If you are not satisfied with the completed work after the revision process has been completed, you may request a full refund of all payments made
- Refund requests must be made in writing to support@rapidwebdevs.co.uk
- The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels the project after work has commenced and the client is satisfied with the work delivered to that point
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of an approved refund request
6. Revisions
We offer unlimited revisions until you are 100% satisfied with the final result. This applies to the design and content of the agreed deliverables.
Revisions are subject to the following:
- Revisions must relate to the original agreed scope of work
- Requests to add significant new features or pages beyond the original scope may be treated as a new project and quoted separately
- Revision requests should be submitted clearly and in a single round where possible to ensure efficiency
7. Timelines & Delivery
We aim to deliver all projects within the timeframe communicated at the start of the project — typically 2 to 5 working days from the point work commences.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by:
- Delays in receiving content, assets, or feedback from the client
- Changes to project scope requested after work has commenced
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We will communicate any delays promptly and work to resolve them as quickly as possible.
8. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver your project on time and to the standard agreed, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your business, brand, and requirements
- Supply any content, images, logos, or materials you wish to include in a timely manner
- Ensure that any materials you provide do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Respond to requests for feedback or approval within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure you have the legal right to use any content, images, or trademarks you supply
RapidWeb accepts no liability for any delays or issues caused by the client's failure to fulfil these responsibilities.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full and final payment, full ownership of the completed website and all its deliverables passes to you, the client. This includes all custom design work, code, and content created by RapidWeb specifically for your project.
Until full payment is received, all work produced remains the intellectual property of RapidWeb.
RapidWeb retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing prior to project commencement.
Any third-party assets used (such as stock photography, icon libraries, or fonts) remain subject to their respective licence terms. We will only use assets with appropriate licences for commercial use.
10. Hosting & Domain Names
Unless otherwise agreed, websites are hosted on Netlify or a comparable platform. Hosting arrangements will be communicated during the project.
Domain name registration and renewal are the client's responsibility unless a specific arrangement has been agreed. RapidWeb is not responsible for the loss of a domain due to non-renewal by the client.
11. Aftercare & Ongoing Support
Every project includes 30 days of aftercare as standard following the launch date. This covers minor amendments and technical support related to the delivered project.
Ongoing support beyond 30 days is available via our managed care plans. Details are available on request.
RapidWeb is not responsible for issues arising from changes made to the website by the client or third parties after handover.
12. Limitation of Liability
RapidWeb's total liability to you in connection with any project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that project.
RapidWeb is not liable for:
- Loss of business, revenue, profits, or anticipated savings
- Loss of data or corruption of data
- Any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the delivered website
- Third-party service outages (hosting, domain registrars, payment processors, etc.)
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the course of a project and not to disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
